First u/s when pregnant after m/c?

How early did they schedule your first u/s when you got pregnant after your m/c? Was it earlier this time?

Mine was at 7 weeks, then I had another at 8 weeks 6 days and the next was the NT scan at 12 or 13 weeks the the AS at 17 weeks

Mine was about a week earlier... but that was just because of scheduling. My doctor didn't feel the need to do betas or an earlier u/s.

My first u/s was at 5 w4d b/c I was having spotting. Was able to see a hb though! And so far so good this time around

I had a mmc so the doctor did an u/s at 6 weks to check for a heartbeat.

My first u/s is at 7 weeks. I thought maybe they would take me earlier because of the m/s, but no such luck. The Drs office said that they can't see much before 6 weeks anyway. I'm just anxious to hear that all is well.

Mine was at 6w. With my previous pregnancy I didn't go until 10w and at that point a missed m/c was discovered.

I had my first u/s with my DS at 7 weeks and will have one done at 7 weeks this time as well.

6wk+2days, 2nd was 2 weeks later at 8wk+2days.

i had the first one at 9 wks...no betas or u/s before that

My OB does all 1st ultrasounds around 8-10weeks. Mine will be at about 8.5 weeks this time. I did have 3 beta draws this time.

I had my first u/s at 4w4d to rule out ectopic because not only was I spotting but having some pains. The next u/s came at 6w1d to check for a hb. Then again at 8w to make sure baby was progressing. Had the NT scan at 12ish weeks and then the growth scan at 19w. Now all I'm having are growth scans since baby girl has been measuring so big.

My first was at 7 weeks....next one will be at 13 weeks.

ETA: Last time I had one at almost 10 weeks because of severe morning sickness...that was the first one and when I found out I had a missed m/c

My doctor suggested I come in at 6 weeks, 3 days. We didn't do any betas so she scheduled this to give me some comfort. We ended up seeing the heartbeat. Later when I went to my first "real" appointment (7 weeks, 6 days), I expressed my anxiety and she gave me another one.

Mine was at 7 wks, 1 day. I wanted to wait until there should be a heartbeat before having an u/s.

Mine will be at 7w2d this time.

I was with a practice of midwives with my missed m/c and they don't do u/s until 20w.

Last time I didn't get an u/s...at least not until I was bleeding. They weren't going to do an u/s until the 20th week. I guess I could have requested one but they had not said a peep about getting one. This time I went in at 5 weeks for a HGC test, did another one at 7 weeks...I was having a break down. and at 10 weeks this time (which is when I m/c last time) I went in for an u/s (I could have gone in earlier but DH wanted me to wait until after the 1st of the yr). I don't go back to the Dr until 15 weeks (just for the regular visit/hear the heart beat) so I am pretty nervous still that something can happen between the u/s and then. But I am soo soo glad I did the u/s this time...it really helped me relax knowing everything was OK this time. Although I am not sure if insurance will cover it...

I was only going to do one u/s (other then the 20th week one) so I am glad that I waited, though it was hard to wait, cus at 10 weeks we not only saw and heard the heart beat, but we saw arms and legs moving around too..which really really made it real for DH!

I had my first m/c in June 2008.

Got pregnant with DD#2 in April 2009 and had first u/s at 11 weeks.

Had another m/c in June 2010.

Lost DS#2 in January 2011 at 22 weeks - with him, I had an u/s at 7 weeks after betas drawn during 5 weeks.

This baby: had bloodwork at 4 1/2 weeks, including progesterone, repeated through week 6. Had u/s at 5 weeks, 6 weeks, and 7 weeks. Another at 12 weeks for NT Scan. Another at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 24 weeks, and 28 weeks. I have another one scheduled for 32 weeks and 36 weeks. My case is a bit different though as I have Hashimoto's and my dr said that can sometimes compromise baby's growth in the 3rd trimester.

my OB's rule is 6-8 weeks if you've had a mc..8-10 weeks if not

My former OB only did U/S for NT scans and the 20 week one. She scheduled an emergency one for me when she couldn't find the heartbeat at 10 weeks (it was a mmc). This time I switched OB's and went for my 1st visit at 6 weeks. As soon as I mentioned my m/c, they asked me if I wanted a "peace of mind" u/s. I had that one at 8 weeks to make sure that the heart was beating. I had another one at 9 weeks, 6 days due to cramping and bleeding.
