Car Seat
Yesterday DH and I went to a local car seat inspection event. We had both of our bases installed/inspected and received some great instruction on utilizing our infant carrier. I walked away with an enormous sense of relief about the whole process and felt much more informed about do's/don'ts regarding car seat safety. This morning I caught this story :

about the Cali mom and her two children that survived an incredible crash. After hearing about the 10 month old being taken from the scene virtually unharmed due to being in a car seat I got very emotional (tears come so easily these days).
I encourage everyone to find local car seat events/classes in their area. It is a tremendous public service provided by local law enforcement and in our case the local community college.
