I'm 13 weeks pregnant with twins. I'm so exhausted all day, and then sleep as much as I can at night. I haven't been very hungry and eating makes me feel sick. Same with drinking water. I want to do Doctor Luke's suggestions, but I haven't been able to stomach that much food. Is there an end in sight?
Re: When will it get better?
I was well into my second tri before I felt better and could eat better.
I didn't have much trouble with food as long as I stayed away from meat. However, the exhaustion was overwhelming. From day one I felt like I had been drugged with some sort of sleeping medicine every single day...all day. I wasn't even really safe to drive! It was awful.
Around 15 weeks I started noticing an uptick in my energy level, and so far it's still pretty good.
So, hang in there...I really think you'll be feeling a bit better in a couple of weeks!!
Congrats on your twins!
I'm still exhausted all of the time, but my all day nausea disappeared in week 11. Now I only get nauseous if I go too long without eating.
Hope you feel better soon.

Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
hang in there, you will have lots of ups and downs, and you will soon want to punch people in the face when they talk about how great 2nd tri is, and you thing, i'm still waiting. i kinda went from problem to problem, ms ended at 14 then acid reflux, then stretching pain, then well you get it, i have had great energy the past couple weeks, but i have trouble moving around, i'm slowing down fast.
just remember you are 6-8 weeks ahead of singleton (unless you are tiny like me then 8-10) and you have double the everything, and are moving at a much faster speed through this whole pregnancy, I hope you get the glow and energy soon, but if not you will make it! you are a champion!
