I just took a pregnancy test, and there was a plus sign, but it was very faint. Does this still count?

Normally a line is a line and I would say congrats! But if it's a blue dye test (the plus/minus ones usually are), you can't trust it 100% because they are notorious for false positives. Get yourself a First Response or a CBE Digital so you can be sure.

No matter how faint a + is, you have to have the hCG hormone at a certain level in your urine to get it--meaning, a positive is a positive! Congrats!

I took one on Wednesday and it was super faint, so I waited until Friday and took another one and it was clear as day! I would wait a few days and retest!

I only took one at home test and mine was very faint as well (one line of the plus sign was dark, the other very faint). It was a Target brand test which I have since heard are notorious for faint positives. I spent all night freaking out and then went to the Dr the next day and they did a blood test that was positive. Like another poster said, if there is a plus sign it detected some level of the hcg hormone. Congrats!
