Why did I fight having a mother's helper so long?

DH's cousin's daughter (did you follow that? :P) who isn't quite old enough to babysit is coming over for a few hours on Saturdays to watch T while I do other things around the house (while DH is off at pilates anyway).  This is so awesome - I'm folding laundry less than a week after it's washed, cleaning up little things that have been a mess for weeks... I even spent 10 minutes playing my flute for the first time in 3 or 4 years.  I had fought DH for a long time over the need for weekend help - I thought we should be able to manage it alone.   But honestly, this may be my sanity-saver.

    That is wonderful. Yes, having help is definitely a great thing and there's no reason to feel bad about it.

    Such a good idea.  I think I might need to consider something like this.  An extra set of hands could really help!
