Hello!
This is the first post I've done on TTGP and I have a question... This is our first time trying. With DD it just happened randomly and it was very shocking because we used protection except for one time, and since my cycle is so random, we didn't think it would happen!
Anyway, this time around I went off birth control and haven't gotten my period for 2 months. I went in to get blood work done and I just got my results back. Everything is normal except for the LH levels. They were low. I have no idea what this means--even after googling it. I assume that my doctor will call me soon (I got the results online) to talk to me about it, but I'm impatient!
Does anyone know what this means? Have you ever had this happen to you? TIA
NOTES: I went off BCP with my DD, but used protection because we wanted my body to regulate after being on BCP for 10 years. With DD, I got my period 30 days after going off BCP. So I know that it can take time for my body to regulate, but it wasn't like that the first time around. I'm 30 years old, in case that matters.
EDIT: My LH level was 1.6
Re: New here...Question about low LH levels
Your LH levels surge right before (I think typically 12-36 hours) ovulation.
So it sounds as though you aren't about to O anytime soon. But I guess it could mean that your LH levels are just lower than normal, even not preceding O.
I'm not exactly sure but I know when I use opks, sometimes I have no hint of a line. Other times I have a very distinct light/medium line. I think it naturally varies throughout the cycle when you aren't gearing up to O.
Good luck!
