Left Logan with a babysitter for the first time

and will never do it again!

I had to go to my company dinner last night so I had one of my mother's friend's daughter watch him. She is 17 or 18 and said she has watched many babies. When we got home, around 10:30, I asked her how he was and she said great. He went to bed early around 7:00, fussed for a little and fell asleep. He woke up around 8:30 and she just pushed the wireless remote to turn his mobile back on from outside his door. This is what I told her to do so I don't think she did anything wrong.

So we say bye to her and I get ready for bed and go check on LO and he had thrown up his dinner all over the crib. I don't know when he did it but it was all over. Luckily he had rolled onto his belly but if he hadn't he could have choked and died.

I watched him on the monitor for a very long time and he woke up around 2:00 AM and I brought him into bed with me because I was so scared. I don't know if it would have been any different if I was home but I still feel terrible.

    Oh man. I would feel the same way. I'm sure the same thing would have happened if you were home but you would recognize the spit up sound over the monitor, she probably didn't. So sorry you had a bad experience!

    I am just so paranoid after the SIDS posts, I just kept thinking that he could have died.

    Awwww i'm sorry. It sucks that it is one of those things that could happen to even you but like PP said you probably would have recognized it. I hope you atleast had fun while you were out! If you move closer to me I'll watch him for you!!!!!! :)
