VBAC

Is VBAC "standard" somewhere?

In this country, it seems RCS is the default path for the majority of physicians.

Is there a country where VBAC is the standard? I'm just curious. Thanks!

  • I think the UK defaults to VBAC, and most of Europe, actually.  I've read of woman living in England who want a RCS and most doctors there won't do it without a better reason than having had a previous c/s.

Sadly it's because fear of litigation is ten fold here in the States compared to other European countries

Yes and our healthcare system is so jacked up here.
