Anyone have a successful version?

I know there have been version posts in the past but I have ignored them because they have been telling me the whole time that LO is head down. Then they decided to check "just to be sure" today at 38w3d and he is breech. I don't know if he has been breech for a while and everyone missed it or if he flipped recently without me realizing it somehow. 

They scheduled an external version for tomorrow and told me it is about 50/50 that it will work. This is later than they would usually do one but they said the baby seems to be on the small side (~6lbs) and I have plenty of amniotic fluid so that may help.

Any success stories out there?

    I am curious about this too.  Same story here, Dr. always said that he his head down until today.  My c section is scheduled for Monday Jan 23rd, I was completely taken off guard!

    Ya, they attempted the version today and it didn't work. She tried four times and it was definitely painful. I am scheduled for a C-section Tuesday the 17th.
