We met with the review board and they have decided that Evan is unfortunately not a candidate for a heart transplant at this time. So now we pray that Evan gets better and keeps fighting on his own. He's already proven he can beat the odds and now he's just gonna have to keep showing the dr's how wrong they are...

We don't really know what else to say right now except, this sucks!

I am crushed for them. I cannot even imagine what that must have felt like -- to walk into that room so anxious and hopeful and be given that news. My heart is so broken for them. I pray Evan keeps fighting.. and they could definitely use continued thoughts and prayers if you could spare 'em.

This made me feel sick

I can't imagine how they must feel as parents. What a difficult thing to hear. I hope and pray Evan pulls through and yes, like you said - Show them all how wrong they are!!!
