Once more, with heart!!

Hi ladies! Stepping in to say a nervous, but hopeful Here We Go Again!

After a blighted ovum and natural M/C in May, I am almost 8 weeks pregnant! We went in last week at about 6.5 weeks and they saw a fetal pole, which was more than last time, but still super nerve-wracking. Today was a morning filled with dread, but it was so amazing to immediately see how much bigger the baby was and to spot that wonderful heartbeat flicker before he even pointed it out. We definitely aren't worry free yet (ever?), but it was a huge, huge milestone for us and we are pretty giddy.

This was the 8th cycle since the M/C and I was consistently having around a 9 day luteal so we got in with Kaiser fertility and this was our very first cycle of Clomid to boost ovulation and fix the luteal phase. Guess it worked! We've been released from fertility now and have our first appointment with the regular OB on Feb. 1st.

We told Jon's family over Skype (they are in England) on Christmas, which was scary and only 5 weeks, but we thought the timing was too great to pass up. So we were happy to pass on even better news to them today. My sisters and a handful of friends know, but we are waiting for the rest of the world. So nothing on FB of course.

Congrats!!! I am so excited for you!!! I hear how frustrating it is after a m/c to constantly have a short LP. Yay for the clomid fixing it!!!!!!! H & H 9 months!!!!!!!!!
