I am looking for a new moms group in the NE Minneapolis, Columbia Heights, Roseville, Fridley area.  My son is 3 weeks old and I feel like it is time for me to get out and meet other moms in the area for my benefit as well as my son's. 

Also looking for a breast feeding support group in the same area.

    Hi there. DD is 10 weeks old, but I live really close to Roseville. I has posted a thread awhile ago asking if people were interested in getting together in the Nov '11 group, but I didn't get much of a response. I am thinking that once this cold weather is over I'll try and set something up. Is there a good place to meet that you have in mind? I think that was the biggest hurdle is finding a place that is baby appropriate and an okay spot to NIP.

    The cold wouldn't keep me home, more like a good ole snow storm or icy streets etc.  We live in MN just the way things are...cold in the winter.

    There are quite a few LaLeche League groups here in the cities when it comes to the BF support.  Here is a link so you can check which is the closest to you https://www.lllusa.org/web/MNDak.html  From what I've heard, each group is pretty unique and has women across the spectrum so if one group in your area isn't a perfect fit, check another since we've got so many in the area.

    There is a local chapter of the international MOM's group that includes Columbia Heights, New Brighton, Mounds View and Fridley, their website is https://www.freewebs.com/momsclubmvnb/  St. Anthony also has a chapter but I don't know their website off hand.  You would need to join whichever one covers your specific city.  I know both chapters are quite active.  Good Luck!
