Okay, I finally packed some bags...

...last night. I had some pregnancy induced anxiety because I looked around and realized that I have got nothing ready for when this baby comes. We've been working so hard on remodeling the house, and I've been putting all of my effort in there so that DH doesn't get stressed. DH gave me the night off to do some loads of baby clothes and diapers, and I packed my bag and the diaper bag. I still need to pack a little bag for DH, but at the very least if something happens now we will have the necessities. Makes me feel a little bit better!

Good for you! Definitely feels nice to have *something* ready! And for what it's worth, I'm letting my husband pack his own bag! I don't want to be asked "where is my ____" or "did you pack the ____" while in labor or recovery. Ha! Maybe I'm just a jerky wife!

I'm all ready for LO to get here...everything washed and put away, my bag packed, etc. But, I'm a little anal like that. SO bag? If he wants it, he can pack it!

You're lucky.. If I let my husband pack he would forget everything he needed and I would never hear the end of it!!!

I packed a bag the other day too, the day everyone was going into labor on this board. It is not my official hospital bag with everything on my list in it, but my just in case something happens early bag. I also have LO's stuff ready, just in case.

As far as DH's bag, he swears he doesnt need one...so I am not packing him one. He will be going home to let the dogs outside and if he decides I was right and he should have brough X,Y and Z. then he can grab it then. Me and baby are ready.

I offered to pack some stuff for DH, but he decided he wanted to do it himself. I think he is just looking for a way to get to stay at home after the baby comes!
