Newly pregnant with #2 and question

Hello Ladies,

I am newly pregnant with #2. I had a C/S with our first because she was breech. This may be a stupid question but where is the best place to get information on VBAC?

Depends on what kind of info you're looking for.

i-can.org is a good place to start in getting info about VBACs and how to successfully have one.

also the acog official position is pro-vbac so it can help to read up on what they say before speaking with your care provider because some OBs don't realize or tell their patients otherwise and you should beware of a doc that does that.

Read the article below on the risks of a RCS that was published in the ACOG journal if you haven't already. Print it out to use if you get flack for trying to do a VBAC. I've had to pull it out in discussing the possibility of a VBAC and I'm not pregnant yet.

Check that your hospital allows VBACs and what your MW/OBs VBAC rate is before you get to far along as well.
