Success after IF

Can you recommend a thermometer?

We have a forehead one that is inconsistent.  I was thinking of getting an axillary but open to suggestions.  Any that you feel confident in would be appreciated!

Re: Can you recommend a thermometer?

  • We have been happy with our Vick's thermometer (the one that reads in 7 seconds - or something like that).

It isn't fancy or expensive, but it gets the job done.  I took it with me to the Dr's office one time to see if it was accurate and it was with a few tenths of a degree.

  • We have this one -- love it.  I've seen it priced competitively at Sam's Club.

  • We have the Safety 1st digital with interchangeable tips.  It takes oral, rectal, and underarm, and has been very accurate for us.  DD ran a 103 fever for 8 days once and we were taking her temp constantly.  I believe it's around $20 at Target, BRU, etc. Highly recommend!
