We have a forehead one that is inconsistent. I was thinking of getting an axillary but open to suggestions. Any that you feel confident in would be appreciated!
We have been happy with our Vick's thermometer (the one that reads in 7 seconds - or something like that).
It isn't fancy or expensive, but it gets the job done. I took it with me to the Dr's office one time to see if it was accurate and it was with a few tenths of a degree.
We have the Safety 1st digital with interchangeable tips. It takes oral, rectal, and underarm, and has been very accurate for us. DD ran a 103 fever for 8 days once and we were taking her temp constantly. I believe it's around $20 at Target, BRU, etc. Highly recommend!
