TTC after Mirena

I recently had my Mirena removed so that we could start TTC.  I had it in for 2 years.  I had no periods at all on the Mirena.  Prior to Mirena, I had the copper T IUD in for 10 years.  Mirena was removed Dec. 19.  I have yet to have a period.  Any thoughts on how long that could take? Dr. prescribed Clomid but I have to start my period first.  I'm SO ready to be pg ..... any advice?

    I had my Mirena removed Nov 14, but I had light periods with it. My cycles have continued with minimal disruption since the removal. My Dr. said that there was a slightly higher chance of getting pg right after removal, maybe you are already pg? If not I hope AF comes soon so you can start TTC. GL!!

    Thanks Kat.  DH was convinced I was already pg so I took a test. Negative.  I'm not really disappointed, just SO ready to be pg. I'm going to give it another week or so before I call the Dr.  That will be 5 weeks post removal and I should have started by then.
