1. Buy a tank for $20 at Target and you can fill 3 dozen balloons. The bad thing is they only last a day.
2. Buy a ton of balloons on a wholesale website and then got them filled at the dollar store. I can no longer remember how much they charged to fill them, but it took forever and I had to help tie the strings on myself. I did it this way because I was able to get exact colors and sizes that I wanted.
3. Call the party store and have them do it all. More expensive, but one less thing to deal with. I prefer this route, as long as they have the colors and stuff that I want.
As much as people hate wm they fill balloons and you can schedule it so you just show up and pay. They have them ready and waiting. It's the cheapest place in my area to fill balloons. They are the one day ones though. But that has never been an issue with me because that is all the time we need them for anyways.
Re: Is there a cheap place to get helium-filled balloons?
I always order a ton of balloons from Party City and just pick them up the day of. It's MUCH cheaper than getting the tanks and doing it myself.
And an UP party sounds so cool!
I was thinking a dollar store did balloons ... I'll call.
And EK, I've seen some blogs with really awesome Up parties and Disney has some cool party ideas. Might be abetter option than Gaga.
