So I started having contractions about 2:30 this a.m. The rest of the night into today I have continued to have at least one an hour. They are always in my lower back and radiate into my hip/upper thigh area and make me feel like I need to go to the bathroom. They are lasting about a minute or two a piece and are really painful. So this a.m. when they started I was thinking today was the day.... well fast forward through a really uncomfortable day at work to now, I am still only having them two maybe three times an hour now, no big increase in frequency. I haven't had any significant pain in my stomach, it does tighten a little with the back pain but it is almost all centered in my back and hips. I have heard of people having back labor, has anyone else had this horrible cramping in their hips/thighs with it? I assume these are contractions, they are time able... I really hope it is, work does not sound appealing tomorrow
Re: Anyone have contractions you could feel in your hips??

You really want to know?
My first labour was back labour. I didn't realize you could have hip labour until Tuesday..... it wasn't as bad as back labour, but when I hit transition all I could do was scream ow while my husband massaged my hips like CRAZY. Like if he stopped I would yell at him.... good luck!
