Bright red blood :/

Ihad my first u/s today. Everything was perfect and my little bean was right on schedule at 6wks.   Tonite after dinner I went to pee and here's all this red blood onthe toilet!  Nothing on my panties.  No crazy cramping, just the usual low-grade cramps I've had on and off since my BFP. I emailed the dr and he said its likely from today's scan and to just rest up tomorrow. 

 

Even so, I am so terrified of another m/c.  Can anyone shed some light for me and maybe ease my fears???

    Some spotting is normal after an u/s. Just follow drs orders. Take it easy. If it doesnt go away I'd call back.

    It's very likely that the u/s may have irritated your cervix and caused the spotting.  Take it easy, hopefully you will hear from the doctor soon, but take a deep breath.  I've heard of this happening before and the ladies all turned out fine.  You may have a sensitive cervix or something.  HTH! ((Hugs))...I know spotting is always scary!

    I think considering you just had your u/s today, that your doctor's orders are right on par. Rest up and try not to stress to much. I hope everything is better tomorrow!

    I have had spotting on and off this whole pregnancy- both bright red and brown. If you have a sensitive cervix, it can be after an ultrasound, BM, or even after sneezing!   So even with all this spotting, I just heard the heartbeat on my Doppler last night so all is well here! :)

    thanks everyone!!!  red blood stopped and now it's just very light brown spotting, so it must have been a little irritation from yesterday.  that was no fun!
