I got my DVD last week and would like to start. I'm jut worried I will hurt my supply. If I maintain my calorie intake, will I be ok? How would you manage this?
I did the 30 day shred and then went to ripped in 30 because I heard it was harder (and it is) and now I alternate both DVDs (a total of 7 workouts) 5 days a week with 1 day of actually hitting the gym If you go hard, the JM dvds will get you RIPPED (I'm the most ripped I've ever been, and I was a size 2 pre-baby and never imagined I'd get in that good of shape again, let alone better) BUUUUT my supply has tanked. I can get about 10 oz a day pumping...
I did 30DS after my first son and never had supply issues. I did it for 30 days straight and lost 11 pounds, then went on to some of her other videos and lost another 10 pounds. Total of 20 pounds in about 4-5 months. For the first month I ate very clean, didn't count calories but cut out the junk like sugar and alcohol. I never had any supply issues and BF for a year. However, I tend to have an oversupply.
This time I am just starting ripped in 30. I'd actually be happy if my supply came down a bit because I have been suffering from engorgement.
I think you should keep your calories up, but avoid processed foods and simple sugars and you will see results without having to worry too much about your supply. Like pper said everyone is different tho and be sure you're drinking water.

I should mention this put me about 15 lbs below pre pregnancy weight an never had a supply issue.
