  Hey, I was just coming here to page you. She said that the cramps I've been having are contractions.  She checked me to see if they've been helping make any progress and I'm 50% effaced and a fingertip dilated.  She said that's good but didn't mention if it's ahead/behind/etc.  She also suggested I take evening primrose oil and red raspberry leaf tea just to help out.
  

  I guess I was hoping she'd tell me I'd made a little more progress but maybe this will help me chill a little bit.   I like knowing what contractions feel like so I know what I'm on the lookout for in the future. 

  Overall, I did not get the impression that she thinks LO will be here anytime soon.  I know that's good I'm just so ready to meet her!

  Hey progress is progress!  I looked back at my journal with Luke and I was only 1 cm at 37 weeks.  I ended up going into labor on my own at 39 weeks, so you never know!  I think some of our Nesties have had success with evening primrose, but I don't know about the red raspberry tea.
  

  Now I'm curious to ask my OB about the cramps I've been having.  I don't remember my labor feeling like this, but then again mine are only in the front (not in my back) so it may just be general I'm-hugely-pregnant aches.

  Monday I was "a good 3-3.5 cm" and 70%.  She reminded me that I could walk around for a week or two like that, but said she was happy with the progress.  We'll see where I am next week!
