Let's talk boy names...

I thought we were down to 2 names. But I've been rolling them around in my head so much that now I'm starting to question them. So gimmie your favorite boy names. I'm paranoid I'm going to have to send DH out for a baby name book after Butterbean is born.

If we were to have had a boy, he would have been Wesley.

Other names I like: Julian, Reid, Benjamin, Henry, Elijah, Andrew

ETA: I like both of the names you have narrowed it down to. Hopefully you find one that just 'fits' soon.

Here are some favorites...Luke was a contender when we were choosing Will's name and these were also on our list.

I threw away our short list, but I remember a few:

Gabriel, Porter, Thomas, Henry, Jacob...

there were more, but I still think boys' names are so much harder than girls names. So much harder!

ETA: I love longer names (maybe b/c I have a one-syllable name?) so I have always liked Nathaniel and Benjamin.

Joyco--Thomas will most likely be the MN.

And I'm trying not to share our final two picks because I feel like one generally is more popular than the other and I don't want to let that sway our decision.

ETA: I really, really like Owen but I think it would be weird to have a set of brothers named Luke & Owen. KWIM?

If DD had been a boy her name would have been Benjamin Daniel.

For DS others on our list were Nicholas, Zachary, Nathan

Other boy names i like, Andrew, Owen, Noah. hmm, boy names are hard.

on our boy's list: charles/charlie (front runner for a while with family name connections), braden, nolan, and cole. but i wasn't in love with any of those really. boys names are just hard. good luck!!!

My girlfriend just had her 8th (6th boy). I love all the names she's used. The boy's names are: Kelton, Van, Greyson, Ryder, Zane and Paxton.

Are you opposed to a sibling set - 2 L names? What about:

Lance

Leif

Lane

I also love Charles b/c I think the nicknames are so cute - Charlie or Chip.

I'm also probably a little TOO into syllables. Since you have a Luke (assuming he's not a Lucas) I think it would be cute to have a sibling w/ one syllable too - but maybe the same # syllables AND the same first letter are too much. I dunno.

GL - it really is hard! Maybe keep your 2 that you have and narrow it down once you meet him? Easier said than done, I know...

I really liked Daniel and Joseph for traditional names (without making nn's out of them), but DH shot me down every time. He really liked Eamon and Ellis but I shot him down every time boy names are so hard!!!! funny you mention the wilson brothers...my oldest is 'wilson' and so many people call him 'owen' I think bc of the celebrity connection

eta: we went common/popular w/our 3rd boy and i don't regret it at all. the meaning of the name really resonated w/us so we went with it. good luck!!!!

I really like Henry, Oliver, Jude, Jonathan, and Noah. You could also go Matthew, Paul, Mark, Nathaniel, Andrew, James, Philip, Simon or Thomas if you want to stay in the Biblical name theme. (And, yes, I realize some of the names in the first sentence are also from the Bible.)

I like, but DH has shot down, Grayson (major sad face), Max, Jude, and Derek. Luke's MN is Evan so that one's out.
