I got a call tonight from out caseworker- Claire's birth mom had another baby yesterday! And she's been taken into state custody. We were called since we have adopted the bio sister. She is 6lbs 7 oz and apgar was 9 and 9. We are in total shock, we knew this was a possibility but never thought it would actually happen. We are going to see the baby tonight at the hospital, and we have to decide if we want her, part of me doesn't know if I can go through all the drama again of adopting thought foster care, we got so lucky with Claire and it was such an easy process. And goodness can I handle a newborn and a 2 year old!? But that's my babies sister!! Please play for us that we make the right decision for our family!!

Wow! Sending you positive vibes tonight that you are able to make a decision you feel 100% about.
Also, mine are 23 months apart and it's not so bad. Much easier than I thought it would be, but I'm only 7 weeks in... I may feel differently in a few months.
