40 weeks no progress

 completely closed 20% effaced for four weeks. They wont induce until next Friday. I just want to go into labor on my own. I have been contracting so much. I even walked 5 miles yesterday.Primrose oil must not be working for me, niether is my nightly sex TMI or daily walking.  I thought for sure I would have some progress. Baby still not engaged into pelvis. At least he isnt breech anymore. SO DISSAPOINTING. Sad thing is my mom leaves out of town next Friday ughh she thought Id have him by now. Please throw some labor dust my way so my mom can at least be at the hospital to meet her grandson. :( You can do it little baby please come soon.

    I just posted my birth story!  I was just like you at 39 weeks and 4 days with no effacement and 1 cm dilated, then boom!....labor and a baby:)  It can happen that quickly:)

    I know how you feel! My baby seems to be engaged, but that's it. Closed and not effaced. So disheartening.

    I'm in the same spot, just no effacement and no dilation as of yesterday. I don't get it, she's engaged and in the right position,I get movement so low it's unreal. They won't induce til next wedn. I'm hoping she just comes between now and then but I don't count on it.

    So you will be almost 42 weeks when they induce you? oman good luck your way to.
