Pediatric ENT at Mpls Childrens?

DD has had 5 ear infections since June - some requiring 2 rounds of antibiotics.  We just had a follow up visit with our Pedi after our latest infection to discuss possible treatments for them & she referred us to Pediatric ENT at Minneapolis Childrens...anyone familiar with them & specifically Dr Lander?  We have an appt in a few weeks & I just wanted to get any feedback from people who may have used them in the past.

Thanks!

Re: Pediatric ENT at Mpls Childrens?

  • I used to work at Children's (St. Paul) with both audiologists and speech pathologists... so we were in close communication with ENTs frequently.  We saw a ton of patients from Dr. Sidman, who appears to be in the same practice.  Additionally, 2 others that are from another practice, Midwest ENT, Drs. Karlen and Malone were also very well respected.   Sorry no info on Dr. Lander though...

  • My DD has hearing loss so she sees/saw the ENT frequently.  We see Dr. Tibesar at Pediatric ENT.  She had to have an enlarged lymphnode removed at 18 months, and Dr. Tibesar performed the (outpatient) surgery.  No complaints with the practice or Dr. Tibesar.  I don't know anything about Dr. Lander, but we did see the audiologist there a few times and liked her as well.
  • My daughter also has a hearing loss so we have seen quite a few ENTs.  She had her tonsils and adenoids out last June and Dr. Tibesar did the surgery.  We were so pleased with the office and with him.  No complaints at all!!!
