Lactation Consultant

Has anyone used a private lactation in the Lansing area (specifically east of Lansing/Ingham County area)?  

I'm hoping to find a private LC to work with when my baby comes in April.  If you can provide recs, etc I'd appreciate it.

    I did. Her name is tina Brennan or brennar or something like that. She was pretty helpful. She came to my house and did a weighed feeding. We came up with an action plan together. If you can't find her via google let me know and I'll look for her contact info. Hope that helps.

    I've actually tried contacting her several times, but she's not returning my calls.  Did you have a hard time getting in touch with her?

    I definitely had to be proactive in contacting her. She has a regular day job too. I know she has both a house phone and cell phone and I think she told me that her cell is more reliable. I don't have the numbers with me right now though. Good luck! My pedi also had LCs on staff. Maybe try that route?

    Thanks.  I'll keep trying.  I've tried her home and cell.  Unfortunately our pedi does not have LC's on staff, and switching would be difficult.  Might be something to consider, though.
