I can't figure out how to PIP on my iPad, but we originally got the Skip Hop Mod Dot bedding. Then, I changed my mind and returned it, and now gave the Land of Nod "construction" bedding (we did NOT get the sheets with trucks on it, just the striped bedskirt and aqua sheet). I also got the striped curtains to match, a big orange drum light fixture, and a bright blue rug. I love orange and blue...

We're not doing any "theme" or bedding sets (you really don't need the whole set, they mostly just use the crib sheet). We painted the nursery a turquoise color, our furniture is white, and we're sticking with the same family of colors (ie: blues, greens, beige, etc)
We found matching changing pad covers to go with it, and we're planning on putting some tree and leaves decals along with some birds and/or owls to go with it.
I was just planning on using crib sheets, and some nice blankets or quilts laying around the room on the rocking chair, like this one:
I'm not geting a bedding set, but am using this fabric sewn to the sides of white sheets in the skip hop bumper free style
and this for a lamp shade and some other accents
I love these colors and patterns! So cute! Would love to see a pic when complete!!
Thanks; I def will! I just hope it turns out the way it looks in my head. I always imagine things then can't quite get the creative side to pull it off.
But mainly for his quilt from grandma I also think I may use one of the solids to make a crib skirt. Most of the colors are that muted blue, green and brick red with a few variations here and there (I got some gym type baskets from Land of Nod) for his closet. DH had some of his old metal Tonka trucks etc that will be on shelves for decor. All the other additions (light fixutre, a vintage wall clock etc) are all metal and kind of industrial. I picked things that as he grows older will hopefully grow with him.

DH wants to be a fireman and we love dogs, so we went with this fire engine set with the dalmatians. We bought the stickers for the wall too. I can't wait to set it up!
Re: PIP your baby boy bedding
I left it up to DH and he picked out the "Rockets" bedding by Trend Lab.

We aren't doing bedding, but our colors are yellow, green, light blue, and brown. So everything is shades of that (less blue, more green/yellow).
We are also adding owl details.

Hobby Lobby. The top is discontinued so it's on clearance and selling quickly. The bottom is on the regular rack but matched perfectly.
We are using this bedding

and adding these curtains

We're going with the same set! Both DH and I are musicians, and I love the "monkey" kind of theme!
Micah Leonard
Thank you! I'll go to Hobby Lobby today to see if they still have it.

We got this bedding with the matching bed skirt, curtains, and changing pad cover as well. It's super cute and was really inexpensive!
