They do work but they take a lot of effort. Then again I have a friend who manually expressed (ie she used her hand and no pump at all) for the last 3 months her DC was breastfed and she was working part time.
I would get a medela just so the same bottles will fit with it as with your other pump.?
yeah - i agree - they do work but take a lot of effort. i am working full-time and only using my manual pump (medela symphony - it works great for me). if i had to do it all over again, i probably would get an automatic one, but i have only been working full time for 2 months, and will stop pumping within the next month. overall though, it works and i have no complaints!
