If so, what? I got him a giant Teddy bear last year, but want to stay away from stuffed animals since I hate them - and he doesn't touch them after the first day. But what else is there besides candy - and he can live without that too!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: Do you get your kids anything for Valentine's Day?
I agree with the stuffed animal thing. What about a book about how much moms love their little boys? Or an Elmo Valentine book.

I might get G a little book that I can write in for his first V-day.
Instead of buying anything, I think I'm going to do a fun meal like heart-shaped pancakes and using food coloring to make them pink.
I was thinking of doing it for breakfast, but mornings are crazy enough getting out the door to work/daycare, so maybe it'll turn into "breakfast for dinner" and we'll add other red/pink items.
We will do a V-day photoshoot and make valentine's for the family (maybe salt dough hearts), heart cookies etc.
I don't plan on getting him anything-maybe I'll make a valentine for him.
we do a card and a book.

Yes, something small. They like Minnie and Mickey and Walgreens usually has a good selection of cheap little Disney toys.
Carly really likes Pluto this year so I'm trying to find something (not a stuffed animal) that has Pluto on it.
They also both love snowglobes so I might get them each one. They usually manage to drop and break the other ones they have in a few months so it's nice to have another one to bring out. LOL
