Last night Dh was reading Yummy, Yucky to Evie and he was commenting on the story as he was going along.
He told DD that hot sauce isn't yucky, it is yummy especially mixed with chocolate sauce. He also noted that Mommy's cookies "can be hit or miss," but to always pretend that they are yummy. If they are yucky, he'll take her out for ice cream. They just have to be careful not to eat too much ice cream, that's yucky.

My brother was reading a nursery rhyme book he & his wife gave to D'. He was commenting on all the rhymes saying how they are either too outdated or just leave you hanging in the middle of a story. He had us cracking up with his comments. I told him "Maybe you should write your own modern-day nursery rhymes"
