I just found out it's unsafe to use my SIL's pump...so to be on the safe side I'm looking into buying one, I was leaning towards a manual just to start then I saw this one...the price seems too good
honestly this is an item i wouldn't skimp on the spending...if you truly plan to BF and especially if you have to go back to work I'd pony up for the better models. I went with a Medela PIS. You can also rent hospital grade, but my OB and a lactation specialist both gave thumbs up to medela

Same here for the Medela pump. My friend had one and is BF for a year. She said it was the best money she ever spent since she often has to travel for her job. I bought mine based on her recommendations.
Look for coupons or percentage off deals if you can. I bought mine through Target when it was on sale and I had a 20% off coupon for them messing up my registry. Hope that helps!

I actually just bought that pump a few days ago. It's worked really well for me so far, but obviously I don't know yet about how it'll be after a long time of use! I haven't had any problems with it at all.

I have no idea, since I haven't pumped yet. However, I did notice you can save quite a bit of money by buying a pump that doesn't come with a carry case. I ended up ordering this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P9XJ5E/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details, which has pretty good reviews, but no carrying case. Since I'll be on leave for the first 7-8 months, followed by only going to school a couple days a week, I figured I didn't need a fancy pants carrying case.
I know everyone recommends that medela (and I have a friend's used one just in case something goes horribly awry with this one... although it's an open system so I'm hesitant to use it), but The ratings for this one were fairly similar to the medela systems... I hope it works well!
