2. What are you looking forward to this week? Just a regular week. Not much out of ordinary.
3. Monday confession? I had planned on getting the Christmas decorations put away this weekend and I just could not get moivated. I'm usually great about taking them down New Years weekend but obviously that didn't happen either. Wonder when it will actually get done?

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Wk 20, getting a little more uncomfortable at night, my body gets tired a lot more quickly when I'm chasing Lucy around or trying to do housework. Otherwise, everything is fine.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Today, normal check up.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? We have a crazy busy week. Dinner with family from out of town tonight, going away party for a co-worker Wed. night, dinner with girlfriends Thur. night.

New EDD is 6/5/12, not August, I thought I was going through menopause having lighter periods, and I was actually pregnant with light bleeding every 20 days--so I was off with the original August Due Date.

4. Monday confession? It is hard to be pregnant and handle a toddler is having tantrums on the floor--and putting all his weight on the floor--and I have weight from this pregnancy---I feel like a walrus wrestling a seal on the floor.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 19. Not too much, just a little back pain every now and then.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I have the a/s today, excited to find out gender. Also, an appt with the MW on Wednesday.

4. Monday confession? I've been lazy about walking and doing yoga. I know I need to start if I want to try a natural labor.

I haven't done it, I have also debated on doing it. A few friends have and said it doesn't cost too much and they liked having it. One friend did it because during her a/s she couldn't get a gender read.

35w4d today! The only "new" thing is that my shoes have started to be really tight -- even first thing in the morning. Boo!

Thursday! I'm up to weekly appointments now. We'll be doing the GBS test, which is the only 'unusual' thing.

Getting all the baby clothes washed, the hospital bags in the car, and the carseats installed!

My living room has been a disaster area since mid-December, and I'm not sure I have the energy to deal with it.

I think they look a little creepy/weird, so... no, I wouldn't, especially since they recommend waiting until you're a fair bit through the 3rd trimester before you get them... and then it's so close to the baby's birth, I'd rather just wait! But if you want one, do it!

34. holy cow i can't breathe. and i need to pee. and i both can't sleep, and am exhausted all day. my hips hurt, my back hurts, my legs hurt....i'm getting just drained.

to take some naps. i don't have a lot planned...so napping, and cleaning/setting up baby stuff

i didn't have it, don't think i will. IMO, i think they look creepy, and i don't want to think of my baby as creepy. i'm sure that i wouldn't think of my own like that but i wouldn't want anyone else to look at my baby and think s/he is creepy!

Prior to TTC we decided fertility treatments would not be for us, regardless of how things went.

We knew how many months we wanted to try before seeing the RE, what steps and tests we wanted to do for diagnosis, and when we hit those milestones, we didn't have to discuss it. WE used guidance from our docs a lot too. We deviated from the plan only when we had a diagnosis and could evaluate what we would spend (time and money) continueing the same thing that wasn't working vs trying something new.
6. Questions for next week?I got a BFP last week, yay! My EDD is 9/17/12
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 4 weeks today. No pain, I can feel little twinges, which is kind of neat!

With the stressed time line of trying to get preg. before FIL dies we have moved a small step further each cycle since the 2nd one. I think that without FIL's health we probably would be moving things along slower, trying the same thing multiple cycles.

If you use OPK, how do you remember to do one when you first wake up in the morning? I'm always so groggy and sometimes I forget.

I used these drugs together in ivf. I was a hormonal mess. Not sure if they all contributed or what.

I think I decided it was our next step pretty soon after I started going to the re and after I was still without success after having endometriosis removed. I had a very frank conversation with my husband about why i thought ivf was the next step and what the process entailed. When things financially fell into place we moved forward very quickly. If you are thinking about getting your fertility checked out, I would not mess around with an ob and head straight to an re. It makes the transition to the next level much easier.

we went to RE after no success for a year. I didn't have an OB at the time and had read enough to know that a RE was a better move. Went through all the testing and since nothing definitive we went for the small step of IUI, which worked the 2nd time. I was very nervous for IVF, so that would have been a hard step for me.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? My next (and first) appointment is the 23rd and I'm crossing my fingers we'll hear that beautiful heartbeat for the first time!!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Getting our passports renewed and flights booked for our babymoon in March!
4. Monday confession? Work has been so slow lately, I think I spend more time on the bump than anything else!
5. Have you had/Would you have a 3D ultrasound? My mom has talked about treating me to that somewhere down the road and I wanted to see if it is worth it? Where would you suggest to go? -AmyInOly I don't think we will, part of it would be the cost and I've read some articles suggesting using caution when it comes to elective u/s. But I know there's a place down here in Bellevue that does it, I would look on the local resources list.
6. Questions for next week? How do you cope when you're feeling super impatient for whatever next step is coming up? (A/S, hearing heartbeat, feeling baby move, labor, etc.)
Eep! Sorry I'm so late to the party this week! I do have an update, though, we're having a little GIRL!
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 22, nothing new
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? 3 weeks out, we'll talk about my glucose screen and how they do it/if I want to. I think I likely will in case I have a hospital transfer and they want to know, but I'm curious to see which protocol my MWs use since they do it at my regular visit.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? We leave for Disneyland on Saturday!

Where would you suggest to go? -AmyInOly I haven't...I can't quite justify an elective ultrasound to myself if it is wholly unneeded just because I know baby girl HATES dopplers/ultrasounds and they haven't been directly tested..though if they hadn't been able to determine gender at my regular one I might have opted for an elective 3-D one because I'm weak :P
