Does anyone have an older Jeep Liberty with more than one carseat in it? With DS we had his seat (SnugRide then convertible) in the middle because the bulge would stick out between the two front seats. Now, we have his booster on the passenger side. We went to BRU the other day and only tried to fit one car seat in my car (Evenflo Symphony) and it was a joke. We tried putting it in the middle, side and there is no way it would fit. It doesn't help that DH and I are tall so we can't push the seats up. I know I'm going to have this problem with most seats. If you don't have much space in your car, which car seat do you have? Getting a new car is not an option for us. Thanks!
Re: Don't know how I'll fit another car seat in my little SUV (Jeep Liberty)-
I have a Nissan Cube and VW Beetle. Ummmm. It's a hot mess. I am really short, DH is super tall. I had a Britax Roundabout behind where I sat and had another forward facing behind where DH sat.
DH has a large truck and that is going to be our "family" car. But to be honest, with 3 kids I don't see us going too many places all together. Oldest DD starts school this fall so I will be doing whatever running I need to do with the other 2 while she is there.
It has been a serious stress point for me. This baby was a surprise or I would have never bought the Cube. But it is paid for and I really don't want another car payment.
No, this is helpful, thanks. DH and I each are almost 6' tall, so our seats are pretty far back. It's not a problem when the seats are forward facing but I don't know how I'm going to fit one in there rear facing.

Since a new car is not an option, it sounds like the best option would be to put the forward facing child behind the driver to give the driver the most room while maneuvering. Then the passenger will have to deal with less space with the rear facing seat behind them. I know it's not what you want to hear since you'll probably end up being the squished parent when the two of you are together.
