A friend of mine just told me that she and her DH are going to start TTC, because she hates her job and wants to quit. Her DH agreed, because he's tired of hearing her complain about her job.
Don't those sound like great reasons for having a kid?
oh my... hopefully that's not their only reason and she was just joking around...
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
or... my husband and I are having some trouble, but I think a kid will really bring us back together
oh gosh, that's almost as bad as my friend telling me about all her problems w/ her husband and some girl at his work (seriously sounds like he's cheating) and then 5 minutes later telling me they're planning on TTC soon and it will be good for their relationship. ummmmmm...... WTH do you say to that!?

Why do people always think having a baby will fix all their problems, if anything it adds more stress to their lives (not that having a baby isn't wonderful).
Yeah, she really should. The problem is that she's a high school teacher, so she'd be leaving the science department in a bind (another teacher already quit this year and they're covering for that person) and 160 students would be stuck with subs for the rest of the year.
I guess she thinks that if she gets PG, that gives her a good excuse for not coming back next year.
Re: LOL: How about these reasons for TTC?
yes...
almost as good as "well we really don't have money right now to have a kid, but all of our friends have kids so we feel left out"
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
