Living Social is a SCAM UGG

So I woke up this morning to my sister texting me about a living social deal for a 3d ultrasound..

https://www.livingsocial.com/cities/205/deals/205430-ultrasound-package

I was soo excited.. their $189 package for $94.. um yes!! Ill take it.. I was going to call them and see if they could get me in sunday or Monday while all of my family is here for the shower..

Well I pulled up the companies website to make sure I was getting all the same stuff.. and its NOT!! It's not the 189$ package.. its not even their $119 package!!

Im so aggrivated and disappointed.. I want to call and yell at them lol

Lesson learned.. always read the fine print and do your researchbefore purchasing a Living Social deal or Groupon...

  • I am so sorry that happend to you.  You CAN return your deal to living social withing 5 days of buying (I recently had to do this b/c the store told me my certificate was not valid for an item and it was not in the fine print)  You don't even need a  good excuse, you can just return b/c you changed your mind, but in your case I would def. let them know the package described is NOT what you got.  Good luck!

  • bummer!

I would email living social, they take customer service pretty seriously and will probably make the company change their deal

I agree.  I would contact them, that sounds like false advertising to me.

  • I'd actually call the place first and see what comes with the LS package.

Then, if it didn't match what you think it should cost, I'd call LS and talk to them about it.  They do take customer service seriously!!  The whole system rides on customers being happy with their experience, both on the LS side and the other company's side.

  • Ditto PP.  I'd call LS and check.  I've purchased many deals from them before, as well as from Groupon, Tippr, etc), and I've always gotten exactly what I expected.

  • The company can get in big trouble if they told LS that it's one thing and it's another... My company did one and we had issue because we had to take too long to schedule everyone!  They are generally on top of that stuff... Good luck!
