Dumdum question about mattress propping

So, I propped up DS's mattress on one end because he has a cold and a stuffy/runny nose. In trying to fall asleep tonight he turned himself so his head is at the bottoms of the mattress, angled down. I only used a pillow, but the angle is still a good 25 degrees or so. Should I be worried?

I have my LO cradle mattress propped with a crib wedge. The wedge is under the mattress and then I have a thick blanket under the fitted sheet that his butt fits in keeping him from sliding down. Some girls have used pool noodles or rolled towels to do the same.

We propped the crib instead of the mattress, much less steep angle since the same thing was happening to LO. He always looked uncomfortable when he got into those positions. We used 2x4s.

This. DH cut blocks of wood to prop the crib not the mattress, so it doesn't affect the angel care monitor.
