evening cluster feedings are driving me crazy

DD is cluster feeding hourly starting at 4pm until she goes to bed at 8.  It's exhausting!  DH will take her for a little bit but she pretty much wants to be on my boob constantly for 4 hours.  Is anyone else going through this?  Will this get better?  At least this is keeping my supply up.

    We're not there just yet but I went through it with DD1. It does get better, I promise, just can't tell you exactly when.  I suggest getting comfy, find a good book or magazine and just go with it. Your husband can be in charge of dinner for a little while.

    This only last about one and half weeks for my LO. Now she just feeds a long time before going to bed. The end may be in sight. Best Wishes, Momma!

    Im going through this right now as well.  My DS wants to feed like that ALL day though.  I tried to go to Target today with him and I left immediately after I finished nursing him and I was in the store but 2 mins before he wanted to feed again.  I had to go sit in the shoe department and nurse so I could grab the few items I needed.  I have been camping out on my couch since.  Luckily he gives me 5-6 hour stretches after midnight.  Thank goodness!  This has been going on for me for almost two weeks.  I hope my supply catches up to his demand soon!  My doctor say this is pretty normal when they go through big growth spurts.

    Yep, except for us it's from 7 - 11 pm.  She's usually out until 4 am though, which I appreciate!

    YES.  And I'm alone with 3 kids and NO DH during this time.  I totally feel your pain!  It's soooo hard trying to do dinner/bath/bed for my boys with her wanting to constantly eat.  It's the bewitching hour x3 in my house.  I feel like there is someone crying at all times from 5-8pm. Everyone is tired and hungry, inclucing ME!!!   It WILL get better!
