I'm sorry, gotta vent ever so briefly.

I wanted Mom to bring Stella up here for lunch some Wednesday that she is off.  That was today.  My thought was she'd pick her up from daycare, bring her we'd have lunch and she'd go back to daycare.  Nope.  Mom picked her up from daycare with the intent of her being gone for the day so they packed up everything for her to take with her.  This means that DH had to readjust his schedule because he typically picks her up after 5.  Mom was going to drop her off at our house at 4:30.  Mom called around 3 that her plans changed (her friend wasn't home) and she was sitting in our driveway and of course DH isn't home.  Could have been better planning on her part and she could have let me know prior to getting her what her plans were. 

Just a little irritated.  I'll get over it.

    Why not make her pickup your guys' keys and take care of LO herself at your house? After all, she can't expect you to adjust your schedules to her bad planning. Just a thought.

    We have keypads on our doors and I gave her the code when she called me from my driveway.  Not sure what she was thinking today because typically she has a pretty good idea of what she's going to do and who she's going to visit.  Had I known she was totally planless, I would have insisted she take the stroller and gone around the mall or something.
