I think next year, after the field is narrowed, we should spend a day or two campaigning! There are so many wonderful things about Texas, so much to do around the Austin/San Antonio area.
And, I know nothing about Nashville... except that I like country music. And Keith Urban lives there, and I love him.
Just a thought for the powers that be.
oh, and .... GO TEXAS!
Re: We SHOULD have campaigned!
Yeah, you're probably right. I tend to forget that most people don't really know much about Texas...
Dude, given more than a few minutes on the fly during nap time, I could really put together a sales pitch. Hahaha!
I agree that next year everyone should campaigne why their town is THE town for a GTG.
I am lucky to have been to many states, but don't know a town like insiders do. So it would be good to hear selling points of every place and make up our minds because of that rather than just an image of what you think a place might be like.
And maybe next year I will have some cash and can actually go!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
