I'm wondering when I will be starting to swell. I'm having a babyshower at the end of this month; I'll be 36 weeks by then, so therefore I would love see your responses
I started swelling a couple of weeks ago. Nothing too dramatic and it really only happens when I spend too much time on my feet. Hopefully if you haven't had any yet you won't.

My feet and ankles started swelling about 2 weeks ago. Today was the first day my hands have swollen enough that I can't wear my wedding ring. It's still not too bad though. And like the PP said it's mainly when I've been on my feet for long periods of time.
With my DD I didn't have any noticeable swelling. With this baby I've noticed my ankles swelling occasionally and that probably started around 33 weeks.
Thanks for the replies. I'll keep drinking water. So far no swelling here. There are days where my fingers get a little swelled but i stretch a lot and it goes away. Good Luck ladies!
Started for me about two weeks ago, 35 weeks. And hasn't gone away. It's way worse this time around than with DS. It may be the start of January, but I feel like my flip flops are calling my name LOL My feet do not fit in any of my regular shoes.
my feet have started! My hands were getting a little puffy but I find it goes down. However my ring had to be cut off because my hands have been larger since 30 weeks. Luckily it is just a family ring not a wedding or engagement ring and it can be fixed
I haven't had any swelling at all - and the same with DS. In fact with him I wore my wedding rings during labor and delivery and had no issues. Some days my feet feel swollen and a bit tight, but they don't look swollen so i think it just depends on your work, activity levels, water intake, etc.

water water water will help drink at least 10 glasses. The more water you drink it acts as a diuretics and will help with the swelling. good luck
In theory this works but I drink at least 120 oz of water a day (did before PG for that matter) and after 37 weeks my ankles are swollen at the end of the day regardless...i don't really have much opportunity to put my feet up at work which might help. Its not terrible, but its definately there and nothing seems to totally eradicate it
I teach first grade and I'm on my feet and walking all day. By the end of the day my feet and ankles are HUGE! It is so gross I wore support hose today though and it helped. I started swelling last weeks, so 33 weeks for me.

With my first it started around 30 weeks and gradually got worse (feet/legs.) This time, it started over the weekend and has already started pitting.
Oh,I drink a shiitton of water and wear compression socks, and it doesn't even phase it.
