Yeah, um, I'm seeing 2 lines on an equate hpt...
BUT it dried like an hour ago.
When I poas, I was pretty sure it was negative, but meant to come back and check it in a few, but forgot. Just wandered in to the bathroom and there are 2 lines staring back...
The control line is super dark, the second line is faint & off center, but there.
Please tell me these are famous for Evaps.
Backstory - we had sex exactly once almost 3wks ago unprotected. I am EBF, but was planning on using some type of barrier, but it was on a whim. I took a test only to rule out the possibility....
I am freaking the eff out...that could not even be possible. Crappy I pad pic....
Re: Talk to me about Evap lines...freaking out! Pip
Nope!
Sh!t emmylou - I can't see the photo. I don't think you can post from an iPad, you have to use tiny pic or something.
poas.com says equate is good for not having false positives/evap lines https://www.peeonastick.com/hpt/+.html

Is is blue dye? I've heard those are much more prone to "false" pos.
Blue dye & the "positive" is blue, but skinny & to the left of cenyer
Well it is the blue dye tests that are typically considered not as good. However, if the test line is actually blue and not grey then it's not an evap. It could still be a false positive based on dye bleed though. I think you have to take another and read within the test time frame.
Em, my first test when I was pg with Sam was a blue line test. I wondered if it was an evap too, but it was real...
This is what it looked like when it dried:

Throw those girls in the car and go to WALMART!!!!
Holy crap. THIS! (((HUGS)))
This!
Ok so I used the second crappy test in the pack, read it in the window & it is white, bfn. Thank god! I'll be interested to see if I get an Evap on this one. I'll probably buy a frer tomorrow for peace of mind. Phew!!!
Note to self, buy some condoms!
Let us know if a line shows up on that one. And, holy crap, buy a FRER as soon as you can... Wowza.

Those equate tests are notorious for the evap lines. I had one awhile ago and did a lot of googling. Google says that if it is an evap line, it will be very thin. A true positive will be the same dye strength the span of the whole line, if that makes sense.
Let us know!!!
Totally makes sense. This was super thin - just a sliver of a line,
