I feel like I have complained a lot lately, so I wanted to start a thankful thread.
Today I am most thankful for my family. My husband is a great partner and a wonderful father, and my daughter brings joy to my life every day. It is amazing watching her grow. I can't believe that her 2nd birthday is fast apporoaching.
I am also thankful for all of the wonderful support from everyone on this board. Thanks for putting up with me being a complainy-complainerson lately. You guys are the best.
Re: Thankful Thursday- a day early
I am thankful that DS has been STTN for the past month. We put him down awake, he falls asleep without crying (usually) and sleeps for 10-11 hours. I could not be happier about this!!
I am thankful that DH has started washing bottles when he does the dishes at night. One less thing for me to do!
I am thankful that I have a job with flexible hours.
I am thankful for Subway and Dunkin Donuts coffee.
I am thankful for Amazon (and kind of obsessed I think...)

Other than the usual stuff (DD, DH, etc), I am thankful for getting positive results from two recent doctors appointments and getting the go-ahead to start TTCing.
And I'm thankful for my job, which I love even when it drives me crazy.
I am SUPER thankful for DS. He is so special to me and we are coming up on a year and I am so thankful to have someone so wonderfully beautiful in my life.
I am also thankful for the following things in no particular order:
Having a job that I LOVE
Mocha Coolattas from DD
Qdoba
Reading from my Nook again (I slacked)
Planet Fitness
Hoarders
and there are many more, but this list should be good for now..the next Thankful Thursday I will add more
I'm very thankful for DD and DH.
But this week I'm extra thankful for finding a new daycare for Annabelle.
For my aunt who came up to take care of Annabelle today while she's under the weather.
Starbucks coffee for getting me through the morning.
For my co-worker who's retiring.
Obviously DS & DH, I am thankful every day I get to wake up with them in my life! One of my good friends lost her husband in a tragic accident this summer, leaving her and their then 12 week old daughter. I think about the 3 of them daily and how unimaginable that would be, how quickly life can be lost, and the future you thought you had planned vanishes.
Also extended family, my parents, sisters, the IL's (MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL, etc) and that they live so close and we have such a great relationship. We were at the IL's on Sunday and I had really good fun conversations with BIL's GF and my SIL and MIL.
I'm also thankful that I had a healthy full term pregnancy. I say this now because we have a friend from HS that we haven't seen in a long time, but I'm FB friends with. His wife just delivered their twin boys this weekend, at 25 weeks, due to an infection that developed. Just yesterday they lost one of the boys overnight and it breaks my heart. I just can't imagine loosing a child ever, but to have to mourn that while your other child clings to life, ugh it brings me to tears.
I'm thankful for...
DD and DH for daily smiles and laughter.
Having the guts to take the plunge and finally go back to school/switch up my career.
Dunkin Donuts making K-cups.
A warm house. I complain about our house and its squeaky floors but really, we are so lucky to have a home of our own.
Someone's getting a little brother!
DD and DH, they are my world...and that DD is healthy and happy.
That I'm able to SAH.
Reconnecting with old friends.
Coupons.
I'm thankful for my son. He's just amazing to me & never fails to make me smile. I was able to spend a whole week at home with him, just us, & it was the best week ever. Even with him being sick & as frustrating as it can get when he acts out/misbehaves, I loved every minute I was there with him. It made me envy SAHM so much more than I already did.
I'm also thankful for #2 on the way. From the u/s & doc visits so far, he's a healthy lil guy & we can't wait to meet him! Life is going to be crazy with 2 boys but I'm looking forward to it!
