Uterine cyst while pregnant?

My SIL is 19 weeks pregnant with my very first nephew and after getting the pictures from her latest ultrasound, her doctor found a cyst in with the baby. The cyst belongs to the mother, not the baby. She has to have more tests done and what not and the doctor said he doesn't know how long he can let the cyst go before he has to remove it, which would ultimately be the decision of when the baby is delivered. Has anyone else experienced this or know someone who has?

    I have one on my right ovary. It was found during my first pregnancy and it was determined it is a dermoid cyst. My previous OBGYN always kept an eye on if for growth but my new OBGYN that I am seeing for this pregnancy wants to remove it after this delivery before it causes complications.

    My OB discovered a 7cm cyst on my right ovary during the first ultrasound I did when I was around 8wks pregnant. She said that it would be left up to me whether they did an elective C-section and removed the cyst immediately after I delivered or, if I preferred, they would wait until 6wks postpartum to schedule surgery to remove it. However, when I went in for my 20wk anatomy scan they could no longer find the cyst. Apparently it went away on its own.
