I love the "good" days!

When your 2.5 y/o actually cooperates and gets dressed and eats breakfast with a cheery attitude and a smile on his face and doesn't scream in your face "NOOOO", "I don't wanna!" or have a complete meltdown.  Then he hugs and kisses you sweetly goodbye and is ready to leave for DC without a fight, all while your 1 month old is soundly sleeping.  Those just melt my heart!  Why can't they be everyday???  Le Sigh.

Re: I love the "good" days!

  • I love those too and could have used one today.  Unfortunately my 18 month old is not in agreement with me today.

  • That is awesome! I'm glad you had a great morning and hope the day continues on this way for ya.

On days when our morning is not that way, I have resorted to giving attention to his lovey "Bart" and tell Evan that Bart wants to get dressed, Bart wants to eat breakfast, Bart wants to go to school. That usually works, but he isn't 2 yet, so I am sure that will have a limited time of effectiveness.

18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

  • How funny you posted this, I had one of these days yesterday!  But let me tell you, it was one of the best.days that Ds and I have had in a while. No arguing, no fussing, no complaining about anything. He was helpful, he was kind to his sister at every opportunity. I totally forgot that a kid like that - my own kid, was still in there somewhere...lol.
