My temp is up, but my test was BFN and now I am spotting..not sure what to think but I am leaning towards

Hope you are wrong but if not, I wanted to make a suggestion for you next month. Do you check your CM? I never did and thought I didn't really make much. Turns out mine was really thick and murky last month. Sperm cannot get through it and die (as shown by my post coital test). My RE has me taking mucinex (regular mucinex, no letters after it). 2400 mg per day (I get the 1200mg pills and do one in the morning and one at night). I started on CD1 and will continue to O. Not sure if it will make a difference but there was no way I was getting PG with my murky CM. It's an easy enough thing to do on your own since you aren't getting other treatments etc so I wanted to mention it. It could be an instant fix. You never know!

Thanks for the tip McIrish! I do keep track of it somewhat.. I look for the EWCM right around O day.. Did you notice the thick/murky or was it only obvious to your doc? Mine seems pretty transparent but I am no doctor!

Ticker warning.... Just another thought in regards to CM. The month I got my BFP I used preseed for the first time. Coincidence?? I don't know. But I can send you a tube along with the OPK (I held off sendin them cos I was SURE this was your month) Praying that it turns out well!!

It was only noticeable to my RE. But they did a post coital which means they put in the speculum and used a swab to collect some of the CM and put it on a slide. They could see that the texture etc was not right just from the swab. But I don't know if you can "get in there" on your own as you have to get up to the cervix. Maybe some ladies are better than me but I can't "get up" there!

The active ingredient that you are looking for is guaifenesin. It is in Robitussin but you want to only take the guaifenesin and not other active drugs as well that can be found in the cough syrups. Also the dosage is important. There isn't enough guaifenesin in some of the cough syrup doses. Store brand guaifenesin is fine too but I found the dose to be 400mg pills and I could't manage to swallow 6 a day to get to the 2400mg/day so I went for the actual brand at 1200mg per pill. Just a personal preference since I hate horse pills...

I had a negative hpt 12 hours before my positive beta with my first child. Don't give up hope yet. The beta was 14 dpo. Good luck.
