Ask me anything...

Come on, let's start it up!  I'll answer any questions you throw at me.

(Not doing it for a post count, just for fun).

  • Do you ever run into problems working with your H, either between the two of you or with management/ other employees?

Nope, we're on separate floors, on separate teams.  We keep it professional at work - no handholding or anything like that.  We have lunch together at his cube, and that's usually the only time I see him.

Plus, we pretty much work with the coolest people ever lol.  They were all friends before I started, so it was an easy transition.

Ive always admired your hair. What products do you use?

I adore you :)  It's natural.  I switch between Herbal Essences "Drama Clean" and the original Head and Shoulders.

To do it, like my siggy, was a curling iron (or was it curlers that morning? Can't remember) and hairspray lol.

    Thanks Smile

How did you and your hubby meet?

High school lol.  I was a terrified 5'2" freshman and he was sitting on top of (not at, on TOP of) my desk talking to his girlfriend (he was 6'4").  His girlfriend sat beside me, we became friends, he and I became best friends.  I could (and obviously still can) tell him anything.  He broke up with that girlfriend, and I set him up with a friend of mine because I was dating someone (STUPID STUPID STUPID! lol).  Anyway, they dated through high school, and broke up that summer.  He called me to hang out one night and we ended up making out on his bed lol.  The rest was history.  It just "clicked".  We were talking marriage 2 weeks later (but didn't get married for another 4 years).

Would you ever move to another country?  What country?

Not a chance.  I have trouble living 4 hours away from our family lol.

But if I could move everyone, it would probably be Italy.

I've actually never been out of the country. Came close to going to Mexico for a week in high school with the Spanish Honor Society, but it was $5k and I couldn't fundraise that much.

I love HS sweetheart stories.  Us too

I call it a pseudo-HS sweetheard story lol.  I've always told him that a great gift would be for him to Photoshop our separate prom pictures into one where we were together lol.

Do you have a favorite musical?  Sound of Music or West Side Story

What was the last movie you saw?   In the theatre, Twilight Breaking Dawn.  At home, Water for Elephants from Netflix (no, I'm not obsessed with RP, it just worked out that way lol).

What room in your house describes you most?  The upstairs bathroom (lol, that's kind of funny-sounding).  It's the one room in the house that we completely remodeled, and I chose the paint, tile, tile accents, etc.  It has my "flair" with the pops of color and such.  We're not done decorating almost anywhere else in the house lol.

Have you ever read a book / watched a movie that you thought the movie was actually better?  What movie?  Nope - not yet.  I'm really critical about books that are turned into movies.

If you could only eat 3 meals for the rest of your life, what would they be?  And no, fat content/healthy facts dont matter.  You won't get high cholestoral or diabetes etc Big Smile  Ooooo, I love this question (but my diet doesn't lol).  1. Hibachi filet mignon and shrimp, fried rice, and the salad they give with the ginger dressing (that was a very expensive pregnancy craving lol).  2.  Cheesy garlic bread with marinara sauce.  3.  Fresh oranges, peaches, and strawberries (with some melted chocolate for dipping lol).

What is your favorite song, or if your like me, songs?

I listen to everything all the time.  But I love the Glee songs (their remake of Don't Stop Believin'), love Canon in D instrumental, and love to listen to my "throw-back" songs from when I was in middle and high school lol.

As much as I love music, I'm not good at memorizing the titles and artists.  I usually hear a song on the radio, say "Ooo, I like that" but have no idea who it is or what it's called lol.

    Whats your next planned vacation

Going to Ocean City, NJ in July or August with family.  It's a yearly thing.  We stay with family, so it's usually pretty cheap too lol.

Next year (hopefully, fingers crossed), will be Disney with my entire family.  It was supposed to be this year, but no one could get the money together.

The b- word.  I hate how acceptable it's become in our society - on tv, in movies, etc.  I just saw a movie on tv (can't remember what movie or what channel), that would edit out dammn, shiit, but not b-.  I thought that was really odd.

I'm really not a fan of any offensive language.  Don't get me wrong, I swear, sometimes too much, but I really don't like it, and it's something I'm trying to change (and get DH to change).  I don't want DS to grow up hearing those type of things.

Haha, yeah, there's a lot of food...but there's a lot of booze too lol.  It's not technically OC beach, but I can't remember the name of it.  I should've said it's just outside of OC, but we go there once during our visit for the boardwalk.

If you could own a business--what would it be? Wink

    Haha saw that, did you?

I'd start my own photography business, emphasis on families/kids and weddings (after I would get a degree in it.  I have the passion, but not the technical aspects).

And just as a side note, photography's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  It wasn't one of those "I can take a few good pictures here and there so let's just do it!" kind of things.  I've done weddings, senior pictures, and families all before.

  • Has anyone ever told you that you look like Anna Duggar? (NOT an insult) For some reason everytime I see your siggy pic, I think you look just like her.

Is the town right outside of OC that you were talking about, Strathmere, by any chance?

did you know (for the OC NJer's) that Mack and Manco pizza is now Manco and Manco? (that was just a random ?, b/c even though I live realtively close to OC, the main thing I think about when people mention OC is mack and manco pizza

No one's told me that before :)

It's not Strathmere, and I had to look it up because it was driving me crazy lol.  It's Sea Isle.

Haven't heard of the pizza place, but I think we might have to try it out since it's such a well known place, thanks!

  • If you go into OC, you will see the new sign..that is like the "must have" pizza when you go there...but I prefer primo pizza which is down the boardwalk a bit.
