baby skylars birth story!
Acouple days before all this happend, I had a drs appointment and I wasnt dialated
at all, my cervix was still very high an closed!
My son was suppose to arrive on december 24th but he was late,
my doctor said if I didnt have him by the 31st then I would be induced, I
didnt want to be induced so on the 26th my boyfriend and I went on a very long
walk, down a long steep hill and back up it. I was completly put of breath!
That night while laying in bed I was having horrible back pain and I couldnt sleep
at all, I was having contractions 10 mins apart. That morning I woke up and went
to the bathroom around 6am. and noticed I had lost my mucus plug. I continued
through the day having contractions 10 mins apart, they soon became around
8 mins apart, my doctor called me and said if they become 6 mins apart then
togo to the hospital. Alittle bit later I felt like I was leaking water, and thought
it might be my water breaking. I packed my bag and headed to the hospital, I
got to the hospital around 5:45pm, they checked me and I was only dialated
1 centimeter. They kept me their to watch my contractions, and at 7:25pm my
water broke. At 10pm I was 4 centimeters dialated and decided to get a Epi.
After I got the epi I felt really good and decided to sleep for awhile, the nurse came
in around 2am at and I was 6 centimeters dialated. I went back to sleep and at
4:00am the nurse came back in an checked me and I was 10 cent dialated!!
She said your going to push in 15 mins! My doc came and I started pushing at
4:30am, I had my son at 12/28/11 @ 5:06 am. 7 pounds 12.9 ounces, 20 inches.
Healthy an completly perfect!!!
