I do what I can while he naps, but lately his naps kind of suck, so I've been doing more in the evenings. The other night, I was watching TV after DH and DS had gone to bed and I ended up cleaning until 12:30am because I just couldn't stand it anymore!!

this. i can do chores on the first floor and laundry while both my kids are awake and then i do 2nd floor when DH is home.
This, but the past two times my DH has done it. He actually is a better cleaner than I am. I'd love to do it during naps, but naps are against my LO's religion.
Luckily, I have cleaning ladies who come twice a week, so I only need to make the bed and do dishes on the days they aren't here. I'll do it when she's napping or when she's playing. I'll leave her on her mat or strap her into her bouncer or swing and do it really quickly. DH takes out the garbage.
I meant to put awake time too...whoops! Maybe I'll ETA. I wish I could do some stuff while she was awake but she seems to like all the attention on her!

We hired house cleaners...there is no way that with going back to work and being up with DS in the middle of the night I was going to do any cleaning. We still do our own laundry but everything else we pay someone to do.
Me too! Now that I'm back to work and have so little time with DS I don't want to waste my weekends cleaning anymore!
C plays independently by herself for 30 minutes or more at a time. That's when I accomplish things.
This and also during naps. She will sit happily in her swing within sight of me while I get a few things done. I talk to her and make faces and stuff. I can also pop her into her crib to stare at the mobile while I throw in a load of clothes or something. The song lasts 5 minutes and she is enthralled enough to watch it twice. Great for a trip to the bathroom or to pop out to get the mail. I keep my video monitor with me so I can see her.

Special snowflake:
* Put up the laundry in the morning while DH is spending time with the baby.
* Make dinner/lunches for the next day, wash dishes, empty dishwasher while baby naps
* fold laundry while baby's awake
* DH does the dinner dishes and I sweep the floors, we pick up anything lying about after baby goes to bed
*Vacuum on the weekends
