FTM, what happens after you give birth (non-csection)? Does your belly flatten down or stay puffy? Do you get an empty feeling? I'm curious as I thought about this when I woke up this morning...
For the first few days, I looked about 4-5 months pregnant but it was like jelly and felt really gross. It didn't take super long for it to look "flat" again but it took a few months before I had a waist line again- I looked pretty square for a while even though I had lost the baby belly.

Mine felt kind of mushy at first and I still looked fairly pregnant. It's gone down quite a bit over the last week, but I still look maybe 4-5 months pregnant and my belly is just really soft and saggy.

you can kind of see in this picture, I think. This is two days post partum. I gained 40 lbs in that pregnancy and was about 5'-6" and 130lbs pre-pregnancy if that gives you any perspective.
I had a section, but I can tell you that I was surprised that I looked about 5 mo pregnant (I don't know why, but I just never thought about it and presumed I'd go back to my pre-baby belly????). I remember touching it for the first time and being a little freaked out that it felt like what I would imagine the Pillsbury Dough Boy feels like. Just mush. By 11 wks postpartum I was back in my skinny jeans and my belly wasn't "taut", but it was flat again! Took a good 9-10 months before it tightened up to the touch, but as long as it was flat in appearance, I wasn't complaining!
eww, it was like jello! and the worst was when the nurses would come and "massage" your belly to get your uterus to pass more blood/clots. that was not fun or comfortable. also i remember being the hospital and literally having to move my "jelly belly" with my hands when I wanted to roll over.
