Reduced schedule at work

since DS still isn't taking a bottle at school (geez, he looked soooo miserable when we picked up yesterday), i've requested to reduce my schedule to a 30 hour work week for a month. my manager is cool with it. just waiting on HR to make it official.

i really hope this helps. he's been playing catch up at night, which means we're not getting enough sleep to be functional at work. fingers crossed this works.

Re: Reduced schedule at work

  • It sounds like you work for a fabulously understanding company! I hope it works. I'd kill for that kind of schedule!

  • That must be really stressful for you that he's not taking a bottle. I'm sorry :(

I'm glad you have the option to cut down your hours and I hope that helps!

  • 5 days a week, 9-3. at most, the kid will go 7-ish hours without eating rather than the 10 hours he's been doing these days. hopefully this corrects itself and i can just enjoy a shorter work day to get myself re-acclimated to working full time.

there are a few creative positions open right now. :)

  • i'm sorry he's still not taking a bottle. poor worried momma! i hope it helps!

thanks! me too. i think this stress is a big reason i'm not able to letdown with the pump while at work. i can't stop thinking about his not eating.
